Who we are
Founded in 2024 by Joanne O Meadhra, a professional archaeologist with over 23 years of industry experience, Déantán was created in response to a real gap in the sector: the need for collaborative, high-quality, and affordable support for licensed archaeologists and heritage professionals who don’t have access to in-house post-excavation resources.
We understand that every excavation is different, and every project brings its own challenges. Whether you’re managing a legacy archive, struggling with backlogged finds, or trying to get your collection ready for NMI deposition, we offer services that are tailored, reliable, and rooted in real-world archaeological practice.
