With a strong academic foundation, she earned her degree in Archaeology and later an honors master’s degree in Museum Studies, both from University College Cork (UCC). Since 2000, Joanne has been at the forefront of the archaeology and cultural heritage sector, channeling her passion into commercial expertise that transforms the way we understand and manage our shared past.

Specializing in project management, Joanne has become a trusted leader in post-excavation practices and cultural collections management. Her meticulous approach to developing innovative processes and procedures ensures that artifacts and archives are handled with the utmost care, from discovery to display.
